The following is information
on search options and fee structures
A. Permanent Staff Terms basis: Fees are calculated as a percentage
{according to the table set out below} of the candidate's total first year's
gross remuneration receivable by the candidate notwithstanding that the
engagement may be terminated during that period. A retainer, guaranteed
period of employment or other engagement for a period of less than 12 months
shall be calculated on a pro-rata basis as if the retainer/guarantee was for
a period of 12 months. Where the Client provides a vehicle to the candidate a
fee of £1500 will be included in the introduction fee payable to MRIWW. A
minimum fee of £4000 will apply to any engagement.
B. Advertised Assignment basis: The fee payable is 25% of the candidate's
total first year's gross taxable remuneration and shall be paid in three
installments as follows: one third upon acceptance of the assignment by
MRIWW; one third upon submission of a candidate short-list by MRIWW to the
Client; the balance upon the acceptance of an engagement by a candidate.
Where the Client provides a vehicle to the candidate a fee of ££2000 will be
included in the introduction fee payable to MRIWW. If the assignment is
terminated by the Client at any stage then 50% of the next stage payment
shall immediately fall due to be paid by the Client to MRIWW. The Client
shall be responsible for all advertising costs and other expenses directly
invoiced by MRIWW in connection with an Advertised Assignment and shall
reimburse MRIWW for all such costs forthwith upon demand (together with any
VAT chargeable under prevailing VAT regulations).
C. Search Assignment basis: The fee payable is 33.3% of the proposed total
first year's gross remuneration in respect of the assignment post ("the
proposed remuneration") as at the date of acceptance by MRIWW of the
assignment or, if higher, 33.3% of the actual total first year's gross
remuneration offered to the successful candidate, and shall be paid as
follows: one third of the proposed remuneration upon acceptance of the
assignment by MRIWW; one third of the proposed remuneration upon presentation
of a candidate short-list by MRIWW to the Client; the balance of the proposed
remuneration or, if higher, the actual total first year's gross remuneration
offered to the successful candidate, upon the acceptance of an engagement by
a candidate. Where the Client provides a vehicle to the candidate a fee of
£2000 will be included in the introduction fee payable to MRIWW. If the
assignment is terminated by the Client at any stage then 50% of the next
stage payment shall immediately fall due to be paid by the Client to MRIWW. A
minimum fee of £7500 will apply to any Search Assignment accepted by MRIWW.
D. Contingency Basis : The fee payable is 33.3% of the first year's total
gross taxable remuneration. Where the Client provides a vehicle to the
candidate a fee of £1500 will be included in the introduction fee payable to
MRIWW.
E. Engagement fee Basis : The fee payable is 33.3% of the first year's total
gross taxable remuneration. Where the Client provides a vehicle to the
candidate a fee of £2000 will be included in the introduction fee payable to
MRIWW. The CLIENT will pay a non-refundable engagement fee of £2000. This
will be deducted from the final invoice on offer and acceptance. IF the
CLIENT fills the position from another source, cancels the position or delays
it, the engagement fee is not refundable. The CLIENT will receive a
replacement search if the candidate introduced by MRIWW leaves within 3
months of their start date. This will only apply if full invoice payment is
received within 14 days of offer and acceptance by the candidate. Please call
